Hiring Policy

 

The Hiring Policy at MOLINO PASSERINI SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA INDUSTRIAL Y COMERCIAL includes the following points:

 

  • The company has 2 different plants, one with cereals and pulses and the other creates treats out of puffed grains. Both have rotating shift work (it will be described later). Availability to work in the night shift is essential to be considered as an applicant.
  • The applicant has to fulfill the job profile described for the vacancy.
  • Before starting the recruitment process, the company will analyze the possibility of giving promotions or rotating its staff depending on availability.
  • All the applicants must have an interview, go through medical and employment exams, and get satisfactory results according to the needs of each available position.
  • No employee hiring may be done unless the staff selection process has been met.
  • It is prohibited to hire minors.
  • No worker shall be discriminated against because of age, sex, marital status, ethnic origin, social condition, religion or belief, political opinion, sexual orientation, membership or none to a trade union, handicap, or language.
  • The worker must keep absolute discretion with confidential information.
  • The employee cannot do business related to the assets of the company in which they may have a real or potential interest.
  • The worker must not have any criminal records.
  • The administrative staff will be responsible for integrating the personnel files and keeping their information confidential, as well as for writing the respective contracts and requesting the following documentation: personal interview, pre-occupational screenings, curriculum vitae and documentation supporting the information given, background checks, national identity document, tax or service in their name to provide evidence of personal data and address, and any other documentation considered to be relevant.
  • The data and references provided by the workers will be checked by the company.
  • Every person hired in the company must sign an employment contract, with all the information required by law and according to internal policies. The company may hire a person temporarily (for a period of time in the year) due to the type of work. This is called "temporary contract" and ends without any liability of the company on the date of termination stipulated therein.
  • Once the contract has been signed, the employee commits to providing their personal services according to their rank and position in the organization and to comply with the contract clauses, labor laws and regulations that rule labor relationships. The Human Resources Manager will give all the instructions for the post and then will write a report with all the general aspects of the company, description of the post, quality and environmental systems and safety aspects set for the proper development of each activity developed by the organization.
  • Every new employee will have to undergo a probationary period of three months. At the end of this period, their immediate supervisor will evaluate them and recommend or not their hiring to Human Resources Management in order to be confirmed for the post.
  • In the recruitment process, carried out through technical, transparent, non-discriminatory procedures, based on merit and excellence, Human Resources Management will look for the most qualified professionals, whose competences meet the requirements and institutional objectives.
  • Attitude is key within the values of the company; good manners as well as good customs are considered crucial for operating harmoniously and properly in any group of people. The working group should perform in a warm, friendly, tolerant and cooperative atmosphere.
  • Priority will be given to those applicants who are hygienic, physically fit and have a varied and nutritious diet.
  • No worker with a permanent contract may render services to another company that is a competitor or does business with Molino Passerini.
  • The worker must keep absolute discretion with confidential information.
  • No employee spouses or relatives up to the fourth degree of consanguinity are allowed to be hired in the organization.
  • Employees are not allowed to marry a colleague, and if they do, one of them must terminate the contract.
  • Employees must have a specialization according to the position and to the hierarchical level (tasks of management, control and trust).
  • Applicants must have at least 6 months of experience as a temporary employee. That experience can vary depending of the level of responsibility in the post.
  • The company promotes responsible driving; so employees will be hired with insurance and a helmet in case of using a motorcycle vehicle and with an insurance in the case of an automotive.
